HAMBA
Hutchinson Area Mountain Bike Association
The Hutchinson Area Mountain Bike Association is an organization dedicated to the advocacy of mountain biking in and around Hutchinson, MN. We have monthly meetings, do trail work at Stahls Lake Park and Tartan Terrain Park, and host group rides on trails around Minnesota throughout the summer. The group participates in hosting the Hutchinson Jaycee Bike and Board Bonanza and National Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. If you would like to join HAMBA or have any questions about it, find HAMBA (Hutchinson Area Mountain Bike Association) on Facebook or give us a call down at the shop (320-587-2453); we’d be happy to help you out!
Stahls Lake Park – Singletrack
Stahls Lake Park -single track is 3 miles of newly developed Mountain Bike Trail. The trail is for all levels of riders. This is a fantastic trail for beginners and a great place to see if you love mountain biking and just didn’t know it yet! There are plans to extend the trail 1.5 more miles after a prairie restoration takes place in the spring of 2013. Stay tuned for updates!

Tartan Terrain Park
Want to get in a little bit of the mountain biking experience without having to hop in the car and head out of Hutchinson? Look no further! Construction of this park was made possible through a partnership with the Hutchinson Park and Rec Department and HAMBA. The end result is the premier urban mountain skills park in the upper Midwest. There is a lot of excitement crammed into a half acre footprint. Hop on your bike and head down to Tartan Park on 2nd avenue where the Mountain Terrain Park has seemingly popped up over night. There are a lot of exciting features for the beginner and advanced crowd!
